Rev. Dr. Bryan Crawl possesses a passion to see racial reconciliation in the body of Christ in America and more specially in Beaver County PA. Dr. Crawl is a committed member of the Beaver County chapter of “Undivided” a group seeking racial healing in the Christian church. This passion is birthed by a desire to be obedient to the Word of God which states in the body of Christ “There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28).
The desire to be unified through Christ is what inspired Dr. Crawl to write “The Road Less Traveled.” His hope and prayer is that this devotional will motivate other believers to the same desire: To be obedient to God’s Word and bring the body of Christ together for the saving of lost souls in the 21st century and beyond. It is through these and many other similar efforts by others that he hopes we will see racial reconciliation and revival throughout our country. Although he believes there is still much work to be done, he remains hopeful that, through such efforts the Christian church in America might be the catalyst for moral change on a macro and micro level.
In his role as Director of Ministry at Tiger Pause Youth Ministry, Dr. Crawl has seen the effect of the gospel on our youth. Tiger Pause is a ministry that is committed to “Redeeming Lives, Building Leaders and Transforming Communities.” Tiger Pause channels its desire to see change through an environment where the gospel message is presented through a diversity of leaders and committed workers. These efforts center around after school programs, summer camps, mentoring programs and a work program that teaches youth and young adults the importance of having a motivated work ethic. Dr. Crawl has witnessed many youths of this community accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and grow in their relationship with Christ. As a result, this ministry has proudly witnessed these new leaders become coaches, business owners, college graduates and trailblazers in the community.
Dr. Crawl is a retired Air Force firefighter and proudly served our country for 26 years. He currently resides in Rochester, Pa., where he is the Senior Pastor of the Second Baptist Church. Previously stated he is also the Director of Ministry for Tiger Pause Youth Ministry located in neighboring Beaver Falls, Pa.
